Research
Research and innovation is embedded in our everyday clinical practice.
"We believe that it is important that patients have the choice to either take part or not and we offer them that opportunity. We also know from evidence that patients and carers taking part in research tend to do better in terms of their outcomes. Research is at the heart of improving care and outcomes for our patients and their carers." Dr Sylvia Tang, Medical Director
We work with UCL Partners, the National Institute of Health Research's clinical networks, namely the Dementia and Neurodegenerative Disease Network (DeNDRoN), the Mental Health Research Network (MHRN) and the Primary Care Research Network (PCRN). We also work with the North Central London Research Consortium, (NoCLoR) and the Research Design Service (RDS).
The North Central London Research Consortium (NoCLoR) is responsible for all research carried out within the Trust and acts as the Trust's main R&D office. For further information please see their website www.noclor.nhs.uk.
