Official launch of Better Lives Service and new site

Service users, staff and commissioners and representatives from the third sector gathered at an official launch event of the Better Lives Service and opening of 28B King Henry’s Walk on Tuesday.

Consultation and Engagement

In 2017 we submitted a business case to NHS Improvement proposing three options for the St Pancras estate. You can find out more about the three options we looked at in 2017 here.

Since then we have continued engaging with our service users, staff and local people and between 6 July and 12 October 2018, our CCGs led a formal public consultation on our preferred option of building a new inpatient hospital at the Whittington Hospital site and investing in new integrated community mental health centres.

Church garden tended by service users wins award

Beautiful garden at St Paul’s Church, Camden Square, which is a sanctuary for C&I service users, has been named as the £2,000 winner of the inaugural Green Health Awards sponsored by the Church Times.

Widening Access Training Schemes

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) have created a scheme that allows NHS employees to claim refunds for the income tax and National Insurance (NI) contributions they paid for Widening Access Training (WAT) courses.
 
The Trust has produced a set of FAQs to assist individuals to determine whether they may meet the requirements in order to be eligible for a refund.
