The Art of War - Preview: Thursday 13/8/15 5.30pm to 8.30pm at St Pancras Hospital. Introduction and key note speeches by Leisha Fullick, Chair of Camden and Islington Foundation Trust, and by Professor Sir Simon Wessely Head of the Department of Psychological Medicine and Vice Dean for Academic Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry King’s College London.
A 24-hour round the clock “crisis call line” will be available from 20 July 2015 to help patients and stakeholders access the right help in a mental health crisis more effectively.
There will also be line for the Camden and Islington Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Teams.
A £750,000 capital grant from the Nursing Technology Fund (NTF) will allow the Trust to buy state of the art technology such as i-pads, laptops and software which will give patients a speedier, more reliable service and allow them more time with their nurses and health care professionals. The grant is the largest allocation to any mental health trust in London.
