We opened nominations for our Governor Elections on 11 June, inviting members to apply for the following seats that we are electing to:
We are really pleased to have received a good level of interest with 29 people standing for the 14 seats. As we received more nominations than the number of seats we are electing to in each constituency, we have moved to the voting phase!
Voting opened on 30 July and all eligible members should have received their voting packs from UK Engage, either by email or by post, with instructions on how to vote. Members will only be able to vote for candidates standing in their constituency (i.e. if you’re a member of the Service User and Carer constituency, you’ll be voting for Service User and Carer Governor candidates, if you’re a member of the staff constituency, you’ll be voting for Staff Governor positions and so on). So, if you are eligible to vote and haven’t done so already, please cast your vote now!
It shouldn’t take too long and by voting you can help ensure the Council of Governors has the best representation possible. Remember, elected Governors will represent the voice and interests of service users and carers, staff, and the local community!
Your vote must be received before 5pm on Thursday 2 September 2021.

If you are eligible to vote and haven’t received your voting pack, please contact UK Engage by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 0345 209 3770.

Although it’s too late for anyone else to stand in the 2021 Governor Elections, we will be holding another round of elections next year in all our elected constituencies (Service User and Carer, Public Camden, Public Islington, Public Rest of London and Staff). So, if you are eligible and aren’t already a member of the Trust, apply to become one so you can stand and vote in the 2022 Governor Elections. Membership is free and you can apply using our online membership form or request a printed form to be sent to you by contacting email@example.com or calling 020 3317 7017.
