An 80-strong congregation packed C&I’s annual Carols by Candlelight concert at St Pancras Old Church on Monday (17 December), heralding the start of the festive season.
Staff, service users, local organisations and C&I partners enjoyed a traditional Christmas service with standard carols and a selection of bible readings.
Amid the glow of candles and twinkling lights from the Christmas tree inside the church – one of the oldest religious sites in England – a highlight of the service was a performance at the end by the C&I Choir.
After the service, the congregation enjoyed refreshments, including mulled wine and mince pies.
The following evening the C&I Choir was back in action, singing carols and some of their key repertoire hits on the concourse at St Pancras International station during the rush hour (see pictures below).
