Congratulations to the Recovery College's admin staff and tutors who have been crowned January's Stars of the Month.
They were recognised for always being welcoming, kind and professional - continually demonstrating the Trust's values. Ensuring that students of the College are involved in their own recovery process, they play a significant role in listening to potential students talking about their learning needs, as well as showing a high-level of respect and support for those enrolling onto courses.
The College has developed a reputation for opening its doors to everyone, positively reflecting the diverse community that it serves. It makes sure it meets the needs of students, working closely with service users, their carers, friends and families, as well as Trust staff and people living in the local community, to deliver effective courses.
Presenting them with a certificate, C&I pin badge and a £30 M&S voucher, Trust Chair Leisha Fullick, said: "Thank you for everything you do. You make a huge difference to the lives of many!"
Ksenija Kadic, Deputy Recovery College Manager, who nominated the team, said: "From sharing information about our courses, offering cups of tea and coffees or leading a tour of the college, they clearly demonstrate what it means to be welcoming."
Congratulations to the Recovery College!
