Nominations are now open for Public and Staff Governor Elections which will take place from Friday 30 July 2021 until Thursday 2 September 2021.
Put your name forward today to join our Council of Governors!
We are electing to the following Governor vacancies:
Our Governors are hugely important to us and carry out an important voluntary role that is central to our governance structure. They serve as a key link between our Board of Directors and the populations we serve and operate in. They play a valuable role in helping to improve services, using their local knowledge and links to do so. They inform our strategies and future plans and provide an essential perspective to the Board’s decision-making, holding our Non-Executive Directors to account by offering support and constructive challenge as a ‘critical friend’. Importantly, they act in the best interests of the organisation.
As we continue to ride out this pandemic, our future promises to be busy and exciting. We have a Joint Mental Health Review underway with Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust to look at how we can maximise impact and reduce health inequalities and inconsistencies across services to improve the mental health care that we provide to our service users. We also have our St Pancras and Community transformation programmes which will change the way we work with a view to strengthening collaboration across providers in North Central London. So, now more than ever, the Trust needs you to ensure the service user, carer, staff and public voice is represented on the road ahead.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference and gain valuable experience. We support training and development opportunities to equip Governors with skills and knowledge to help them perform their roles more effectively and enhance personal development and confidence in everyday life.
