Mental health focus in the NHS Long Term Plan

The Government has recently shared news of its NHS Long Term Plan - a plan which sets out the key areas to improve patient care over the next ten years. 
As part of the plan, there is an important focus on improving mental health services. The plan outlines specific aims hoped to be achieved over the next ten years:
To spend at least £2.3bn more a year on mental health care 
To help 380,000 more people get therapy for depression and anxiety by 2023/24 
To deliver, annually, community-based physical and mental care to 370,000 people with severe mental illness by 2023/24.
