Our Star of the Year Awards are back - are you ready for them?
The nominations for Star of the Year are now closed. Thank you to everyone made a nomination.
The results of the Awards will be published on the website after the awards ceremony in June.
At C&I, we truly appreciate the exceptional contribution our colleagues, service users, volunteers and carers give every day and we don’t think it should go unnoticed!
Whether it is members of staff continuously going above and beyond to help our service users or a volunteer making a significant difference – we would like to celebrate their achievements.
On Thursday 8 June 2017, we will be hosting our next Star of the Year Awards and we need your nominations!
The vast range of categories includes:
- Support Service Colleague Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Volunteer of the Year Award
- Linda Polan Trophy (Service User Award)
- Frontline Service Award
- Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion Award
- Staff Recognition by a Service User Award
- Carer of the Year Award
- Instilling Innovation Award
- Team of the Year Award
- Individual of the Year Award

Nominations can include individuals who have worked in the Trust over the past year but may no longer be working with us.
The criteria for each award is explained below. Please note that the Staff Recognition Award by a Service User category is only eligible for nominations by service users.
Service User and Carer Awards:
Please note that these awards will be promoted externally by C&I’s Communications Team, and nominees will be asked to sign a consent form if they’re a finalist.
The deadline for all nominations is close of play on Wednesday 10 May 2017.

Support Service Colleague Award - This award recognises domestic, estates, engineering, security and housekeeping staff who go above and beyond to provide excellent service
Lifetime Achievement Award - An acknowledged role model who has supported or created significant improvements and demonstrated outstanding achievements in a clinical or non-clinical role throughout their career
Volunteer of the Year Award - A volunteer who has gone above and beyond to help service users, carers, visitors or staff and whose contribution has made a significant difference
Linda Polan Trophy (Service User Award) - For the service user that has made an exceptional and practical contribution to the lives of other service users across Camden and Islington over the past year
Frontline Service Award - A team in a service user-facing role that has provided exceptional care, treatment and support to service users
Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion Award - A team or individual that has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion by delivering better outcomes for service users or better working environments for staff
Staff Recognition by a Service User Award - The member of staff who has really helped service users or made the most meaningful contribution to service user experience. Only service users can put forward nominations for this category
Carer of the Year Award - For a carer who has made an exceptional and practical contribution to the lives of service users over the past year
Instilling Innovation Award - A team which has demonstrated significant innovation in achieving high quality outcomes through the introduction of changes in working arrangements and practices
Team of the Year Award - For a team that has made significant performance achievements in the past 12 months, while facing considerable challenges
Individual of the Year Award - The award celebrates a member of staff who really puts the Trust values into action. Staff, service users, carers and volunteers are all elegible to nominate a member of staff who has made a real difference, including someone who has already been a Star of the Month winner. The nomination will automatically include all previous winners of Star of the Month in the past year
