On Thursday 11 July, Camden Early Intervention Service colleagues were recognised for their dedicated work and presented with our latest Star of the Month award by Dean Howells, Director of Nursing and Quality.
The service, which is based on Greenland Road in Camden, oversees the assessment and management of people who have presented to specialist mental health services with a first episode of psychosis.
The team was nominated by Emma Dickens, a Counselling Psychologist at the Trust who, in her nomination, noted how supportive each and every member of the team was and how clearly they value one another.
The nomination also mentioned: “Each member of the team shows compassion to their fellow team members, listens to one another and shares their unique skills and expertise to foster joined up, effective and holistic care to all of our clients.
“They also work hard to keep the client at the centre of all they do - they adapt an empathic, warm and idiosyncratic approach to each client in order to keep things as understandable as possible for every individual.”
Dean Howells said: “It’s very clear to see what fantastic work you are doing here to not only support our service users but also to support your colleagues too. It’s a real privilege to be presenting our latest Star of the Month award to Camden Early Intervention Service and on behalf of everyone at the Trust I want to congratulate and thank you for all your dedicated work.”
As part of the award, the team was presented with a gift voucher, badges, a certificate and cakes.
