Where: Highbury Suite, Emirates Stadium
This year, prior to the meeting, we will be holding a recovery showcase to highlight our services. There will also be a Special Guest Lecture.
The timings are below:
Recovery Showcase 3pm-5pm
Staff will be hosting stalls and be on hand to give you plenty of information about our mental health and substance misuse services provided by the Trust. Come before 4pm and you will be entered into our free prize draw with a chance to win one of ten tickets to a tour of the Emirates Stadium (this includes visits to the changing room, pitchside, media centre and more).
Special guest lecture: 5.30pm-6.30pm
Our speaker this year is Alison Cameron. Alison ran medical, educational and cultural projects in the countries most affected by the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Her career was cut short when she was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder after her colleagues were killed in the course of her work in the Republic of Belarus. The consequences included substance misuse, homelessness, multiple admissions to hospital and identity loss. She now advises NHS, housing and social care organisations on how to work in genuine partnership with those who use services. She is currently Leadership Associate at the King’s Fund. Alison was named by the HSJ as one of the top 50 inspirational women in health in 2014.
AMM 6.30pm - 7.30pm
