The Trust has received 80 copies of the Sunday Times Bestseller ‘Mad Girl’ by Bryony Gordon from The Reading Agency as part of World Book Night, and we’re holding an event to give the copies away over a cup of tea and piece of cake.
The afternoon will be a chance to speak with others on why you enjoy reading and the benefits reading can have on our mental health.
The event is open to service users, carers, C&I colleagues and the wider Camden and Islington community. The book giveaway will be on a first come first served basis.
The afternoon will also be a chance for people to donate books to our C&I volunteer-run book trolley which our service users on our inpatient wards benefit from. For more information about the event or if you have a book to donate but are unable to attend the event, please contact Jo Scott, Voluntary Services Manager via 020 3317 7146 or firstname.lastname@example.org
