Mindful gardening

Service users already under the care of the Personality Disorder Service (eg., in treatment), can attend the mindful gardening group which runs weekly on:

Friday drop-in sessions: 2pm to 3:30pm

A brief mindfulness practice is done at the beginning and end of the session. For the rest of the session, participants are encouraged to pay attention in the present moment in the gardening activities. Although talking is allowed, there is a large focus on engaging with the present experience. There is a chance at the end of the session to reflect on what they can take away from their experience of the session.
