We are working with Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust as the North London Mental Health Partnership.

Help us to become a more responsive organisation with an improved understanding of the needs of our service users, community and staff.

Membership

Membership is one of the main ways for service users, staff and members of the public to get involved with the Trust and have their say on how we run our services.

Members receive regular updates on developments at the Trust and are invited to events, talks and community days, which provide and engaging insight into what we do. The Trust and its Governors will also ask members for their views on particular issues and there are occasional prizes to be won for those who tell us what they think. Members are also eligible for Health Service Discounts.

Most importantly, Members are eligible to vote and/or stand as candidates in the Trust’s Council of Governor elections. Find out more about the Council of Governors

Membership is free and is open to people over the age of 16 who either are users of the Trust’s services, live in the local area, or work for the Trust (Qualifying staff are automatically members unless they opt out). Further details on eligibility requirements for membership can be found in our Trust Constitution.

Our Annual Members' Meeting

In 2020 our Annual Members' Meeting was held online for the first time because of the pandemic. It was hosted by our Trust Chair Jackie Smith. Our guest speaker, Claire Murdoch, NHS England and Improvement National Mental Health Director, outlined plans for the future and reflected on the past year. She thanked C&I staff for their work and encouraged them to look to the future and the expansion of mental health services. Our Chief Executive Angela McNab spoke about our achievements during the year. Presentations also included our experience of the Covid-19 pandemic, a report on the work of our Governors, our plans for the future and our financial position.

You can watch a recording of the full meeting here.
