The service offers a variety of treatment options for any concerned drug users living in the North Camden area. These options include: - Full assessment of treatment needs - Advice for and assessment of drug using patients in local hospitals - Pharmacy dispensed methadone schemes (both supervised and unsupervised) - Shared treatments with local prescribing GPs - Psychology service - Various community detox programmes - Assessment for and funding of in-patient detox and rehabilitation - Complementary therapies - Named keyworker for every client - Access to primary care (GP) services Clients may refer themselves or can be referred by other agencies for an appointment at the service. The service has a newly established Users' Forum and clients are encouraged to participate in order to help guide the service in its aim of providing the best service.
