We offer assessment and recovery focussed treatment for clients with complex substance misuse problems.
We offer opiate substitute prescribing alongside 1:1 and group work interventions to help people reduce their drug use and achieve and maintain abstinence, including referring for extra support in relation to structuring day; learning new skills.
We refer for residential detoxification; and our Care Management Team assess for and case manage funded treatment options of day and residential rehabilitation programmes. We facilitate a Relapse Prevention course, and provide psychology assessments and treatment with our team of Clinical Psychologists.
We also offer psychiatric assessment and on-going clinical drug treatment via team Consultant and medical team, and will work jointly with other professionals involved in client’s care.
IDASS provides harm minimisation advice in relation to risks from drug use, and hosts an on-site BBV clinic for testing and vaccinations. IDASS also has peer led support via SMART recovery and Narcotics Anonymous.Islington residents with dual diagnosis/complex needs (including joint drug/alcohol problems/social services involvement). Following assessment the client and keyworker will agree on a recovery focussed treatment plan which will be regularly reviewed. If there is a prescribing need this will be initiated at early stages of treatment and dose will reviewed regularly. IDASS provides harm minimisation advice in relation to risks from drug use, and provides an on-site BBV clinic for testing and vaccinations. Treatment length varies and is not time limited.
