Dr Ryan co-edits reward processing research book

Dr Frank Ryan
C&I Consultant Clinical Psychologist Dr Frank Ryan has co-edited a book just published online that contains 10 research and theoretical papers on the role and function of reward processing.
 
This is key to motivation and emotion in addiction, depression, schizophrenia, anxiety and co-morbidity. 
 
Three of the papers, published in the Journal Psychology for Clinical Settings over the past year, were submitted by researchers from the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at C&I’s research partner UCL.
 
Frank is acknowledged on the international speaker circuit as a cognitive therapy specialist and two years ago was commissioned to write “Willpower For Dummies” which provided scientifically-supported guidance to help strengthen willpower and train the brain. He has also authored academic works on cognitive therapy and addiction.
