Congratulations to Pam Hodge, Community Psychiatric Nurse at Camden Early Intervention Service (EIS), who is C&I’s May Star of the Month.
Pam has been a Community Psychiatric Nurse with C&I for 15 years, assessing and managing people who have presented to specialist mental health services with their first episode of psychosis.
C&I Chair, Leisha Fullick surprised Pam at the EIS weekly team meeting to present her with a Star of the Month Certificate, a special C&I pin badge and £25 of M&S vouchers. Leisha praised Pam for taking new members of the team under her wing, and being a role model to all.
Pam was nominated for this special award by her manager, Rebecca Hardman. She said there were many wonderful reasons for the nomination, adding: “Pam is an extremely positive person, who after all these years – in very stressful and difficult circumstances – has remained wholly committed to the job and team.”
With a lifetime dream of moving into education, Pam will be leaving the Trust on Friday 29 July, to pursue a career in teaching at Middlesex University.
After receiving her award, Pam said: “Thank you so much! I love my job and team, and if it wasn’t for this new role, I’d stay at C&I forever.”
We’d like to congratulate Pam again, and wish her the best of luck in her new role.
