Colin Plant, Director of Integrated Care will be retiring and leaving the Trust in early July, after 13 years of dedicated service to the Trust.
Before joining C&I he was a locality manager in Camden Social Services, he became Director of Camden services in 2002, when the Trust became a Care Trust and has been a member of the Executive since that time.
Wendy Wallace, Chief Executive said, “I have worked with Colin for over a decade as a colleague and line manager, he is always positive and has a good thing to say about everybody. He is passionate about good mental health services and has strongly advocated equalities. We will miss him and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
Colin has many fond memories of working here but is looking forward to the next chapter in his life.
“I have really enjoyed working in C&I, both when it was a Care Trust and a Foundation Trust. C&I has been a very special organisation to work in, and I am proud of having been part of a Trust that has developed such a range of wonderful services, and made such a difference to the lives of so many service users and carers.
“I will be leaving the Trust at the beginning of July, so I will have some time to say personal goodbyes to all of you who I’ve worked with over the years, both inside and outside of C&I.
“After July I intend to spend more time with my young son, who is nearly 4 and really entertaining to be with, and I also hope to continue working in mental health in some capacity. So I do hope to bump into many of you in the future. The fantastic staff we have here will mean that I will leave with very warm feelings about C&I.”
