The Governance and Quality Assurance Department are responsible for the these main issues:

  • Complaints
  • Incident reporting and investigation
  • NHSLA Risk Management standards
  • Legal issues and claims handling
  • Care Quality Commission essential standards
  • Implementation of NICE guidance and other clinical policies
