LiveWork is a service provided by Camden and Islington NHS Trust's Personality Disorder Service with the aim to facilitate effective care networks for people with personality disorder in Camden and Islington.
What we do?
We work with partner agencies in Camden and Islington by providing consultation and training to raise awareness and equip staff across these agencies to work more effectively with people with personality disorder.
All training and consultation is delivered by highly specialist clinicians working within Camden and Islington's Personality Disorder Service who have significant expertise and experience in working with this population. We also adopt a Service User involvement model, whereby for many of the services offered clinicians work alongside a Service User Consultant from Emergence, who has a 'lived' experience of Personality Disorder.
Who we partner with
The Impact Project: Working to enable and empower front line staff in the criminal justice system to work more confidently and effectively with the challenging and complex needs and presentations found in those with personality disorder.
Emergence: A service user led organisation with the aim of supporting people affected by personality disorder.
The Skills Development Service: As part of One Housing, the service works with clients with personality disorder traits and difficulties to develop their skills and coping mechanisms with the aim to improve their social, vocational and employment prospects.
