C&I celebrates Carers Week

Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) engaged with carers during Carers Week to show the wide range of support that exists for them as part of the UK-wide annual awareness campaign week.

Service users' artwork displayed at Hampstead School of Art

Our service users from Isledon Road Mental Health Resource Centre in Islington will have their artwork displayed at Hampstead School of Art between 14 - 28 July to showcase the work which had been produced during their road to recovery.

One of our nurses started a successful petition to help the homeless by getting rid of street spikes and she mustered up nationwide support as well as backing from the Mayor, Boris Johnson.

CQC inspection May 2014

Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust will be welcoming a CQC trust-wide inspection on 27 May 2014. This is an opportunity to showcase the things we do well and to be honest about what we need to do better. They will be focusing on the delivery of patient care, and asking whether our services are safe, caring, effective, well-led and responsive to people's needs.

More than 400 people attended Camden's Discover Recovery event on 14 March, which was opened by the mayor of Camden, Jonathan Simpson and supported by Mitch Winehouse, Amy Winehouse's dad.

Peter Kane has been honoured with the Freedom of the City of London
